Chess Champ is an AI-powered chess education platform designed for children ages 5-14. The platform provides adaptive chess instruction, puzzle generation, game analysis, and progress tracking using a combination of Stockfish chess engine and AI language models.

3. Accounts

Parent and coach accounts require a valid email address. Child accounts are created and managed by parent accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. Child Safety

Chess Champ is designed with child safety as a priority. We comply with applicable child protection regulations. Children cannot communicate with other users. All AI interactions are monitored and filtered for age-appropriate content.

5. Use of AI

The platform uses AI models to generate teaching explanations and feedback. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. The platform is intended as a supplementary educational tool, not a replacement for human instruction.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on Chess Champ is owned by us. You retain ownership of any data you input (game records, profiles). You grant us a license to use this data to provide and improve the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Limitation of Liability

Chess Champ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
